About Us

The University of Arizona Health Plans (UAHP) operates University Family Care. UAHP also administers University Healthcare Group, a state sponsored health plan for small businesses, and manages Maricopa Health Plan for the Maricopa Integrated Health System. UAHP is a division of The University of Arizona Health Network (UAHN), a non-profit company.

In addition to the Health Plans, UAHN is the practice group for the University of Arizona College of Medicine faculty. UAHN is one of the largest medical group practices in Arizona, with seventeen clinics in southern Arizona providing both primary care and a wide range of specialty care services. In addition, UAHN operates University Medical Center South Campus and has several clinical practice sites in Tucson supplying subspecialty services to Pima County.
