About Us

University Family Care Health Plan University Physicians Health Plans (UPHP) operates University Family Care. UPHP also administers University Physicians Healthcare Group, a state sponsored health plan for small businesses, and manages Maricopa Health Plan for the Maricopa Integrated Health System. UPHP is a division of University Physicians Healthcare (UPH), a non-profit company.

In addition to the Health Plans, UPH is the practice group for the University of Arizona College of Medicine faculty. UPH is one of the largest medical group practices in Arizona, with seventeen clinics in southern Arizona providing both primary care and a wide range of specialty care services. In addition, UPH operates University Physicians Hospital at Kino and has several clinical practice sites in Tucson supplying subspecialty services to Maricopa County.
